National Air and Space Museum

Exhibits in the downtown National Air and Space Museum include the Wright Flyer, Spirit of St. Louis, Apollo 11 space module and a lunar rock that can be touched. A new America by Air exhibition was added in 2007. Located 30 miles south from our hotel.

Located at the easternmost end of downtown National Mall, the US Capitol with its famous dome stands regally atop Capitol Hill. Besides housing Congress, it is a historical and artistic monument and is also open for guided tours. We are located 30 miles south of the Capitol.

Pilgrim Weapons From The Mayflower

The National Firearms Museum proudly illustrates America's priceless heritage of firearms, freedom and the American experience. Through its many galleries are the actual artifactts that were with the Pilgrims as they left the good ship Mayflower, marched with the American militiamen at helped a young Annie Oakley put food put food on her famiily's table or stood on the winner's platform at the Olympic Games.
