Hoop It Up, the largest 3on3 basketball tour in the world, will bring top-notch competition, entertainment and excitement to Washington D.C. on Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28, 2009. The event will take place at RFK Stadium, 2400 East Capitol Street NE, Washington D.C., 2003.
Hoop It Up is a series of exciting weekend basketball celebrations providing games, concessions and entertainment. The tour is organized by BEST Experiential Properties, a subsidiary of Blue Equity. The nationwide tour is expected to attract an estimated 400,000 participants and spectators.
Hoop It Up offers players of all ages and abilities a festival-style atmosphere filled with fun, dynamic and fast-paced competition. This eventful weekend also features family-friendly entertainment and basketball skill challenges along with food and activities for all to enjoy.

The next Occoquan Spring Arts & Crafts Show will be held in the streets of Occoquan’s Historic District, on Saturday June 6th (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM) and Sunday, June 7th (10:00 AM until 5:00 PM) rain or shine.
The Occoquan Arts and Crafts show is one of the finest shows on the east coast and a must for anyone who loves the craft show experience. The show has been an annual event for over 25 years. The Spring Craft Show will include both contemporary and country crafters and artisans from Occoquan and from all around the United States.
Parking is available in 3 local commuter parking lots in Prince William County and 1 in Fairfax County. A continuous shuttle bus service is available from all 4 lots at a round trip fee of $4 per person, Children 12 and under ride free. The buses will run every 15-25 minutes; begin operating at 7:00 AM and the last bus leaves Occoquan at 7:00 PM. (Vehicles are not allowed into or through the Historic District of Occoquan during Occoquan Craft Show weekend from 8am to 7pm. THE ROADS IN THE HISTORIC DISTRICT WILL BE CLOSED.)
