Come take a guided tour along the nature trails at Brentsville and learn about plants and animals that live in this part of Virginia!Brentsville, then the county seat of Prince William County, was established on 50 acres in 1820 and by 1893 had became a primarily rural community. The Brentsville site consists of 28 acres with five historic buildings and various archaeological sites. You can visit the 1822 Courthouse and Jail, the One Room Schoolhouse, the Brentsville Tavern and more. The nature trail highlights the area's beautiful natural resources. Tours can be self-guided and picnic areas are available. Formal tours are available Thursday through Monday from 11am to 4pm or by appointment.
